A man in his 30s who changed his password after selling game accounts worth hundreds of millions of won was sentenced to prison.
In August last year, Mr. A sold his online game account worth 290 million won for 205 million won. In March of this year, he reconnected to the account and changed his password.
The prosecution believed that Mr. A had gained more than 500 million won in property profits by selling and re-possessing game accounts worth 290 million won, and brought him to trial on charges of violating the Specific Economic Crimes Act.
