7-car serial collision near Muan Tunnel, 3 vehicles burned

According to the police on the 22nd, at around 10:28 a.m. on this day, an accident involving a series of collisions involving seven vehicles occurred on the road near Mongtan 2 Tunnel in the Gwangju direction of the West Coast Expressway in Mongtan-myeon, Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do.

In this accident, five people in each vehicle suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital. A fire broke out in the accident vehicle and spread to adjacent vehicles, destroying three vehicles.

The fire was extinguished in about 30 minutes by firefighters who responded.
