KOICA I thought you guys would get scolded hahahaha

When the President asked about the exact size (number) of KOICA and ODA (Official Development Assistance) projects, he could not give a clear number.

It was exhausting to present different standards (aggregation by ministry, integration of free and paid services, etc.)

“”How many?””:

The President asked the exact number of projects KOICA carries out, but the answer was “”450 to 500″”.

There is confusion as they say “”If you include all ministries, there are 1,639″”, and “”If you include paid aid, there are about 3,000″”.

Statistical inaccuracies:

The President criticized the poor management of statistics, saying, “From what I was briefed on, there are over 3,000, so why are the numbers different?”

I point out.

Strategic change order:

Moving away from simple humanitarian aid (well digging, food aid) in the past, Korea is now focusing on areas such as AI, digital, and climate change.

We emphasize transition to areas of strength and integration of business between ministries (One Voice).

The reality is that so many projects are dispersed that it is difficult to even understand them. The foreign aid projects of all ministries are being led by the Prime Minister’s Office.

Integrate, analyze and strategically reorganize.

You are doing an amazing job!!!!
