Movie (Mask) Peter Green found dead at home

Actor Peter Green passed away at the age of 60. Green was found dead at his home in New York’s Lower East Side on Friday, his manager Greg Edwards said. The exact cause of death has not been disclosed.

According to foreign media, a 911 call was received about an unconscious man in an apartment on Clinton Street at around 3:25 p.m. on this day, and a paramedic dispatched to the scene confirmed the death. The manager said, “I understand that music was playing continuously in the house for over 24 hours to check on the person’s well-being,” and said, “I spoke with him on the phone earlier this week as well.”

Peter Green left a strong impression on the public as the cruel security guard Zed in Quentin Tarantino’s film Pulp Fiction (1994). He made his presence known by appearing as the villain Dorian Tyrell in starring Jim Carrey, which was released in the same year. The manager is said to have paid tribute to him, saying, “There was no actor who played a villain better than Peter,” and “He was also a person with a warm and gentle side that people don’t know about.”

Green played a strong supporting role in many works, and received favorable reviews from critics for his role as a man suffering from schizophrenia in the 1993 film .
