Seasoned seaweed current status

An official from the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries explained, “The fact sheet clearly states that ‘tariff exemption will be further negotiated for natural resources not produced in the United States.’ This time, seasoned seaweed was included as an eligible item.”

He added, “We plan to hold additional discussions with the U.S. on tariff-free application to other major marine products such as dried seaweed and tuna fillet (fish meat with bones removed).”
