John Nash’s letter of recommendation for Princeton admission.
He completed his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Carnegie Mellon University at the age of 19 (completed master’s degree at age 19).
My advisor, Richard Duffin, wrote a letter of recommendation, and it contained only one line.
“”This student is a mathematical genius””
With this letter of recommendation, he was accepted to Harvard and Princeton, and entered Princeton Graduate School as a scholarship student.

John Nash’s death is very unfortunate, and the Abel Prize awarded by the Norwegian royal family (different from the Fields Medal, also known as the Nobel Prize in mathematics)
After attending the award ceremony, he returned to the United States and took a taxi with his wife from the airport to return home, but he and his wife died in a car accident.
Age 86.
