A security guard asked a union member visiting Lotte Department Store to take off his vest.

They say it happened at Rotbaek Jamsil branch.

We hope that Lotte will issue an official apology and prevent a recurrence.

A customer may have complained to a security guard because he thought it did not fit the department store atmosphere, but upon seeing that, the security guard made a personal decision and asked the customer to take off his vest.

Rather, shouldn’t you explain to the customer who made the complaint that they can’t say anything about this problem?

As I live, all sorts of things happen.

It’s not like I’m wearing clothes that are so revealing that it causes a disturbance.

I hope the company apologizes properly and creates regulations to prevent recurrence. There are also guidelines from the Human Rights Commission.

We cannot restrict the attire of any customer other than the union. It is not a club or party hall with a dress code.
