Since my father-in-law is dying, my husband will have to go to the funeral and then there will be no one to take care of my daughter (Grace), so I am calling my aunt.

I was reading a novel called Stoner, and I knew that this woman got married impulsively, had no interest in married life, and had no intention of taking care of her daughter, but even if she didn’t go to her father-in-law’s funeral, she did take care of the daughter she gave birth to.

Stoner is a novel that depicts the ordinary life of an ordinary person, so there is nothing special about it, but like Pyongyang Naengmyeon, it is worth reading because it is boring.
