Looking more closely, 893 of the 911 police officers above the rank of chief constable were tested for drugs, but no police officers took any action, such as inspection, because they tested positive.

However, the remaining 18 people did not agree to the drug test, so the test could not be conducted.

It is said that about 10% of all police officers will be additionally tested in the future.

After checking other articles, I added reasons for not consenting to testing.

‘The National Police Agency explained that the people excluded from the inspection were in fact difficult to participate in the inspection due to being foreign officers, being dispatched to other organizations, being relieved of their positions, being on leave, or being on long-term sick leave.’

Rather than refusing the test, it’s actually an exclusion.
