Why is it difficult to find employees at the CU Hawaii branch even though the hourly wage is 20,000 won?

The minimum wage in Hawaii this year is $14 (about 20,500 won).

The work is intense, but they are paid minimum wage.

But the reason it’s the minimum wage is actually because that convenience store opened last month.

At that time, I didn’t know that a common convenience store would become so popular, so I measured it based on minimum wage like other places in Hawaii.

People flocked like that from the first day.

If the number of customers continues like that, of course we have no choice but to raise the hourly wage.

Of course, we are not only asking part-time workers, but the number of customers is much higher than expected, so employees from the head office in Hawaii are working.

I never thought Korean convenience stores would do so well overseas.
