In September, Gyochot Chicken was caught maintaining the price, lowering the weight of boneless chicken before cooking from 700g to 500g, and mixing in cheap chicken breast.

As a result, the government is making it mandatory to indicate the weight of chickens before cooking (number of chickens if per chicken) on the menu of chicken specialty restaurants.

In addition, under the current law, a corrective order is issued if the weight of processed food is reduced by more than 5% and notification is not made within 3 months, but the system has been changed to allow up to a suspension of production in the future.
