Man in his 30s dies while receiving treatment after being hit by a Lamborghini, police conclude ‘no right to prosecute’

A man in his 20s who crashed into an oncoming car while driving on the wrong side of the road, causing three casualties, died while receiving treatment.

According to the Jeongeup Police Station in Jeollabuk-do on the 1st, Mr. A (30s), who was being investigated on charges of causing death or injury under the Special Act on Traffic Accidents this morning, died during treatment.

Mr. A was driving a Volkswagen vehicle in reverse on a road in Buk-myeon, Jeongeup-si at around 12:30 a.m. on the 28th and collided with an oncoming Lamborghini vehicle.

After the accident, the police planned to check whether Mr. A had been drinking through blood analysis. However, due to his death, the case will be closed without prosecution.
