In order to receive a deduction, it must be a legally designated donation, but for overseas organizations, it is a non-designated donation, so it is not recognized as “the entire amount is not included as a deductible.” International organizations such as UNICEF must also donate to domestic UNICEF to be eligible for the deduction.
