The names that appear in the work, including Kim Soo-gyeom, Lee Jeong-hwan, Kim Nak-su, and Park Ha-jin, are characters from the cartoon ‘Slam Dunk.’ Why were the names of so many characters borrowed from ‘Slam Dunk’?
Director Cho Hyun-tak said, “I’m a huge fan of ‘Slam Dunk,’ but I didn’t know it when I looked at the name alone, but I found out later. Writer Kim Hong-ki is a big fan of ‘Slam Dunk.’ I started naming it out of affection, but it seems to have expanded.”

After watching the PD’s interview, I looked it up and found that the full name is not written like this in the original novel or webtoon.
As the drama was being made, the drama writer made an homage to it.
