New Zealand declares extermination of stray cats as ecosystem disruptors

In the plan to eliminate predators that negatively affect biodiversity by 2050, stray cats will be added along with the existing rats and weasels.

For reference, New Zealand was originally a country where cats did not live, but cats were introduced after colonial rule from Britain.
