Lee Hee-jin (38), who became known as the ‘Cheongdam-dong stock rich’ and was released after serving a prison sentence for illegal stock trading, was once again sued for fraud.
According to the police on the 26th, Gangnam Police Station in Seoul is investigating Mr. Lee after booking him on charges of fraud under the Act on Aggravated Punishment of Specific Economic Crimes in May.
Mr. Lee is accused of failing to pay a settlement amount of approximately 1.88 billion won to his partner, Mr. A, the CEO of the cryptocurrency (coin) Pika Coin issuer.
