Family trip to Singapore with grandparents in their 80s who use wheelchairs

I’m planning a family trip with my grandmother and grandfather.

Both of you are over 80

My grandmother can’t walk for long so she has to use a wheelchair.

It’s not like grandpa can walk for a very long time…

Flight time is not long

The infrastructure is good

Easy to move in wheelchair

Among the countries I’ve been to

Singapore would be the best

Above all, Gardens by the Bay Botanical Gardens

I think you two will like it…

It seems like wheelchairs are difficult in Europe.

America has a lot more

As soon as overseas travel was liberalized

These are people who have been to Las Vegas, New York, and LA.

I heard it’s a mess these days haha.

I heard you visited Singapore about 30 years ago.

Singapore’s major tourist attractions and landmarks have changed in the last 20 years.

I thought it would be okay because it happened.

I also go to the zoo

Go to rooftop dining and drink caviar and champagne.

I go to the satay street and eat satay with Kaoliang liquor.

I also went to the Greek Cuisine Dining at Marina Bay Sands.

I ate Peking Duck at a 1-star Chinese restaurant at the Ritz-Carlton.

I also ate chili crab and monjiram.

At my favorite 1-star Chinese restaurant in Singapore

I also tried Wooryangye at Buldojang, which costs 150,000 won per person.

I also tried Beef Wellington.

I just ate it all lol.

I felt that Singapore was a really good country for a family trip.

Since it is a developed country, it was very easy to use a wheelchair.

I always called a call van to get around, so I couldn’t take the bus or subway.

The car turned out to be a good car in no time.

Even at famous tourist attractions such as zoos and botanical gardens.

I felt that wheelchair rental and elevators were very good.

I brought my grandmother’s wheelchair from Korea.

When I applied for wheelchair service at Danggong, the service was terrible.

Right in front of the taxi you reserved at Changi Airport.

The airport staff personally pulled the wheelchair for me.

My grandfather gave me 10,000 won as a tip.

I even received Korean won as a tip…

What I felt this time

I felt that just because I was old didn’t mean I couldn’t enjoy new things.

Caviar and champagne are so delicious

Take a sip and swig the champagne…

The surprising thing is that I drank 3 types of champagne.

They said it was delicious in order of expensiveness, so I was so excited haha.

I ate Wooryangye at Buldojang and it was so delicious.

Since I came back to Korea, you guys only drink good drinks.

They say I feel bad when I drink soju lol.

When you both first planned

You were very worried

Use a wheelchair to get around

I always call vans with Grab and only use the best cars.

It wasn’t hard and you had fun.

Of course, the price was outrageous.

The Dom Perignon I paid for 300,000 won costs 60,000 won.

Caviar worth 160,000 won is 20,000 won.

A 150,000 won Buddhist stamp costs 50,000 won lol.

They also said it was expensive so they brushed it off.

I eat a lot of delicious food

As a guide, I get a lot of pocket money ^0^

This time, my grandfather said he wanted to go to a hot spring.

Next January, I’m going to Yufuin for 3 days and 2 nights at a ryokan.

Both of them almost 30 years ago

I heard you went to Singapore on a package.

I definitely remember the Merlion statue.

So, when I went there, I heard that there were no buildings like this in the old days…

The police said something because another old man I went with was smoking… .

They both have no complaints at all.

It was a very, very comfortable trip with no complaints.

Actually, if you spend money on it, there is no inconvenience haha.

Whatever you two do is fine.

Don’t ask, just do it.

So, I think I will have to buy Kaoliang liquor and champagne when I go to Japan haha.

You both like it so much…

My grandmother really likes plants and flowers.

I really enjoyed going to Gardens by the Bay.

I went twice

Singapore people are also very friendly haha.

The staff at Changi Airport are also very friendly.

But the zoo is not good for pushing wheelchairs.

There are a lot of inclines so you need to do some lower body exercise.

If you have parents or grandparents who have difficulty moving around

Highly recommended for a trip to Singapore!
