A sequel that Uncle Arnold rejected.

The movie ‘Predator’, released in 1987, starred ‘Arnold Schwarzenegger’ and was directed by action master ‘John McTiernan’. It was a successful film with attractive characters and a new setting called ‘Predator’, which was a box office success and received good reviews. Even though the production cost was 15 million dollars, the worldwide profit was close to 100 million dollars, so it was impossible not to make a second part. Naturally, production company 20th Century Fox wants to produce a sequel.

However, Arnold Schwarzenegger says, ‘I’m not doing a sequel.’

The reason is that the ‘Conan series’, the movie that Uncle Arnold started to become famous for, flopped in the second part. Due to the shock at that time, Uncle Arnold did not film any sequels, including ‘Commando’.

Anyway, the production company kept persuading the main actor because he thought it wouldn’t be good to change when he survived, but this time, the successful director who worked with him when he was unpopular is making another movie, so he refuses, saying that he feels like he should do it out of loyalty.

In the end, the setting of ‘Predator 2’ changed a lot and was made into a battle in the city, and the lead actor was ‘Danny Glover’, famous for ‘Lethal Weapon’.

However, because the atmosphere changed a lot, the box office success was not as good as the first film.

Oh, the movie that Arnold Schwarzenegger chose to film out of loyalty after rejecting ‘Predator 2’ was ‘Terminator 2’.

And one more thing, the title of ‘Commando 2’, which Arnold rejected, changed the lead actor and changed to ‘Die Hard’.
