A man with stars in his eyes

In 2014, a 42-year-old electrician living in California suffered an electric shock from a high-voltage current of 14,000 volts while working.

After the accident, symptoms of star-shaped cataracts appeared in the man’s eyes.

Surgery was successful in removing the star pattern, but the lost vision was not restored.
