My great-grandfather was a scholar who did not work (it is said that there were serfs).

However, during the Japanese colonial era, the family was destroyed, and my grandfather survived by buying money and farming.

One of my grandfather’s brothers died after being conscripted to Okinawa.

And others died in the Korean War.

For reference, my father is 85 years old and I am in my late 30s.

My grandfather has already passed away a long time ago.

I went to the countryside with my father and brought back my grandfather’s things, but there are actually a lot more than just these.

Although they were just pieces of paper, I could feel the history of my family.
