Just a perfect day, crossing Yanghwa Bridge

At the entrance to Yanghwa Bridge, the statue of Poeun Jeong Mong-ju caught my eye.

For some reason, it’s Chung Mong-ju’s son-sang.

Yanghwa Bridge is not Seonjuk Bridge haha.

This is what I thought.

The reason is as follows.

Why is there a statue of Jeong Mong-ju at the northern end of Yanghwa Bridge?

It’s because of Hyundai Engineering & Construction.

Chairman Chung Ju-young built the Yanghwa Bridge.

It is said that he donated money to create a statue of Jeong Mong-ju in 1970.

Jeong Mong-ju was murdered at Seonjuk Bridge.

The image of the bridge matches the Yanghwa Bridge.

There is a story that a statue of Jeong Mong-ju was erected here.

As I quietly look at the statue of Jeong Mong-ju,

I feel like Mr. Chung Mong-ju is looking down at the Han River from that spot.

I heard it. Haha

It feels like the verses of Dansimga are being heard on the wind.

I tried reciting one verse.

“”This body dies and dies. It heals itself a hundred times and dies.

The white bones are falling into the ground. There is no soul.

“If you have a single-minded determination, will you ever be able to go?”

It is a sijo that fits well with the number 3543 in the main chapter. Haha

Now I entered Yanghwa Bridge and started walking.

It’s a street I usually pass by by car.

It’s a different feeling when you walk like this.

When I pass by in my car, sometimes I see people crossing the bridge.

I often stare at people walking quietly.

People crossing the bridge are oblivious to the cars

Let’s cross the bridge while looking straight ahead.

I also worry that someone might be looking at me on the bus or in the car.

A thought occurred to me. Haha

Walking on a bridge is a completely different world than passing by it in a car.

The Han River passing by by car is also nice.

As you walk and lean on the railing, you can see the waves of the Han River flowing endlessly,

In the distance, the 63 Building and the building forest of Yeouido are visible.

It unfolds like a painting with the autumn sky in the background.

People exercising under the bridge connected to the banks of the Han River

It looks like a bird’s eye view.

Bicycles are prohibited on the pedestrian path.

However, there are often people passing by on bicycles.

Even though it says bicycles are prohibited

I saw people passing by on bicycles without driving them.

Indeed. Riding a bicycle dizzyingly on that narrow road, meeting pedestrians and

I wondered if we had to face each other again.

In the distance, a cruise ship, or rather a Han River bus, passed by.

The wind blows pleasantly as if caressing my hair.

My flowing hair lightly brushes my cheek.

The sunlight sparkles.

I think it was a good idea to walk on the bridge.

This kind of pause is something you cannot experience while walking busy.

Because it’s that kind of time.

Since it is a daily space, it is not easy to deliberately take the time to come and see it.

I think the scenery I encounter while walking like this is engraved in my mind more deeply.

When I looked up at the sky, it was clear without a single cloud.

This moment, this place, this wind haha

Everything was perfect.

Sometimes it’s nice to walk like this.

Walking slowly shows that moving quickly is not the solution.

There are things you can only see when you look around.

It was the day when I realized it again.

Are you having a hard time right now?

I’ll listen! tell your story

You can see the SOS Life phone.

how many people here

I don’t know if you’ve heard the phone of life.

Someone. At the moment I thought it was the last time.

I hope this call of life cheers you up.

It’s also fun to leisurely walk across the Han River Bridge.

A friend of mine who used to write crossed the Hannam Bridge in the cold winter.

I liked walking all the way to Noryangjin while being hit by the harsh wind. Haha.

It’s not that bad, but it’s fun to cross the bridge like this.

We live our lives focusing only on our destination.

Sometimes it’s better to focus on the path you’re walking rather than the destination.

It’s a different experience.

Sometimes, I think it’s okay for the path itself to be the goal.

A wandering path without a purpose.

As you walk along the road, you may come to another realization.

There are things you can only see when you walk slowly and look around.

I learned it again.

I saw Seonyudo Park and felt like it.

I also wanted to take a walk in Seonyudo Park, but

I turned away from the call of my busy daily life.

Through the round hole next to the cafe

I can see the scenery.

It’s like a landscape painting with a round frame.

I took a picture. Haha

Every time I change the angle

The same scenery is seen differently

It’s fun. Haha

Taking multiple photos

I enjoyed fall as if I was appreciating a landscape painting. Haha

November 12, 2025.

It was a gently sunny afternoon in mid-November.

I walked briskly across the bridge and returned home.
