Born in 1949, he married American Idol runner-up Katharine McPhee (born in 1984) in 2019, overcoming a 35-year age gap, and gave birth to a son in 2021 at the age of 72.
Foster already had five daughters.
The youngest daughter, Jordan Foster, is two years younger than Katharine McPhee.
