Aside from the visuals, the Marine setting is entirely a parody of the U.S. military, so it consists of a variety of human characters, such as patriotism, low-income people who come in based on soldiers’ salaries, disguising petty criminals as prison guards and sending them to the military instead, and kidnapping and conscripting a beggar-looking kid whose identity is unclear.
Looking at later depictions in novels, it is noticeable that resocialized soldiers were resocialized within such groups. People who have been resocialized also mean that they have committed a very heinous crime, so they usually try not to deal with it.
In the private sector, resocialization was initially treated as an urban legend.
