Event Overview
This event is a large-scale gamer festival commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Korean launch of Nvidia’s graphics card ‘GeForce’. It was held at COEX K-Pop Plaza and COEX Plaza, and various programs were prepared, including the latest RTX game experience, new game release, K-POP performance, and prize drawing.
main program
Starting at 7 p.m., the main stage featured a StarCraft match between legendary professional gamers Hong Jin-ho and Lee Yun-yeol, a K-Tigers Taekwondo demonstration, and a special performance by Le Seraphim. In addition, there was a demonstration of the latest games such as Aion 2 and Cinder City, as well as a prize drawing for an RTX 5090 autographed by CEO Jensen Huang.
surprise guest
NVIDIA CEO Jensen Hwang, during his first visit to Korea in 15 years, went up on stage at the event venue around 8 p.m. and expressed his gratitude to Korean gamers. Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong also appeared on stage with Jensen Hwang and gave a surprise congratulatory speech, and the two had a ‘chicken and beer meeting’ nearby with Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Eui-sun before the event and then moved to the event venue together.
