Correctional officers who can’t do anything while being assaulted and sacrificed by inmates

In dramas and movies, correctional officers use sticks to treat inmates who don’t listen, but in reality, due to human rights issues, they can’t do anything carelessly. In fact, there are public officials who get abused by inmates and even die.

If you actually respond, you will be caught up in a lawsuit by criminals.

The cause of this problem is that public power is weak and the law does not protect correctional officers. (Perhaps they are doing this to make us look like a good country, but human rights are also unnecessarily and excessively protected.)

Because of the severe NIMBY phenomenon that prevents prisons from being built in their own areas, inmates are flocking to existing prisons, resulting in severe overcrowding.

I also remember the director of the women’s prison asking for expansion.

Another problem is that correctional officers cannot be buried in the National Cemetery, which makes them sad.

There are many things that our country still needs to fix.

I think the treatment of correctional officers should be improved, and there should be better discussions with local residents about how correctional facilities can be expanded.
