2. A Coast Guard passing by took care of all the accidents for about an hour in the heavy rain.
3. He suddenly disappeared without even giving his name^^
Hello, I am a member who has been eye-catching for 6 years.
I am writing this first article to publicize the good deeds of the grateful Coast Guard who helped my mother during the heavy rain.
My mother runs a barley restaurant in Sokcho, Gangwon-do.
Entered college late at the age of over 60.
He drives a bus between Sokcho and Gangneung and diligently attends classes.
Around 6 PM on Monday the 13th, when you were returning from class,
While driving on the Yangyang Expressway in heavy rain, the car ended up tipping over onto the driver’s side at a curve near the Bukyangyang IC.
The mother was trapped between the driver’s seat and the floor.
Fortunately, there was some traffic, so passing cars stopped and some people looked into the mother’s car.
My mother knocked on the windshield and pleaded for help.
At that time, one person said to the others, ‘I will organize everything,’ and sent the others away.
He jumped onto the passenger seat facing the sky and pulled my mother out of the car.
Fortunately, my mother didn’t have any external injuries and didn’t feel any pain.
I was able to escape the car while holding his hand.
It was raining torrentially, and he put his soaked mother in his car.
He turned on the heater and radio and reassured us.
When my mother said she was very sorry, she introduced herself as a Coast Guard officer, saying, ‘I’m just doing what I have to do as a police officer.’
Over the next hour or so, the person did not even use an umbrella, detoured other vehicles with hand signals, and made reports here and there himself, so police cars, wreckers, and even ambulances quickly arrived at the scene.
Rekka picked up the car, my mother got into the Rekka, and we were able to return to Sokcho safely.
His mother asked for his contact information and name, but he said he was doing the obvious thing, declined, said he would go to a restaurant for a meal later, and then suddenly disappeared.
I am truly grateful that there are still people like this in this harsh world and difficult times, and that they showed up when my mother desperately needed help.
In addition, the thought of a person like this who has a sense of duty and responsibility and protects the ocean where I grew up and where my parents live makes me feel reassured and warm.
Thank you to the Coast Guard whose name I don’t even know! Please be sure to stop by mom’s store later. My mother says she really wants to treat me to a warm meal.
Thank you for reading this long and boring post!
