Ahn Jung-geun

This photo, believed to be taken immediately after the Harbin Uprising on October 26, 1909, has been digitally released.

It is believed to have been taken while being transferred from Russia to Japan.

The recording researcher explained, “It appears to have been filmed in the investigation room of the Railway Military Police Management Bureau of the Russian East Qing Railway between 9:30 a.m. and 10:10 p.m. on October 26, 1909.”

What was preserved in a glass plate format with higher resolution and durability than ordinary film has now been released as digital material.

The existing data was provided as printed material, but the quality was said to be low.

The data released this time also includes images of comrades who shared the same views as Dr. Ahn.
