According to the Gyeonggi Province Northern Fire and Disaster Headquarters on the 12th, a fire broke out at a raw fish restaurant in Cheongpyeong-myeon, Gapyeong-gun at 11:19 p.m. the previous day.
84 fire and police personnel and 35 pieces of equipment including pumps, tanks, and rescue equipment were deployed.
The fire department issued the first response level and completely extinguished the fire at around 2:45 a.m., about four hours later.
As a result of this fire, a couple in their 40s who ran a raw fish restaurant and their teenage children were both found in cardiac arrest and rushed to the hospital, but eventually died.
Police and fire departments are investigating the deaths and the exact cause of the fire.
