This is the second time a non-user has reported a damaged Ryzen 9800X3D on the same motherboard.
Surprisingly, it was ASRock motherboards that suffered damage to the processor:
Ryzen 9800X3D beats ASRock X870 RS despite using May BIOS
Second killed by Pro WiFi
ASRock “motherboards” like the Ryzen 9800X3D (and other Ryzen 9000 processors) kill it without a problem.
Although Ryzen 9800X3D71 dying on ASRock motherboards especially 800 series models is not new.
The phenomenon of CPU dying twice is now becoming common. Last month, a user reported that the 9800X3D was running on the same node board.
There have been reports of two fatal accidents. Did you know? There are other users reporting the same issue.

I purchased a 9800X3D and an ASRock
They reported that it only worked. Fortunately, I received a new CPU frame from AMD through RMA, but it was the same as the second sample.
Even after using it for a period of time, the same problem is recurring and now my CPU is not working.

He regretted not replacing the node board frame, but as previously mentioned, the cause of the problem was ASRock
It’s most likely The Board. Unfortunately, the problem is so complicated that even after several months, the root cause has not been found.
I did it. Not only ASRock but also independent liberators have not been able to solve this mystery Gamers
Nexus is still collecting all the reports and data sets to identify the problem, but fortunately Stevenon is using it.
I would like to request that I purchase both my damaged CPU and motherboard (thanks Steve!).
