Really extinct because of Japan

On Wake Island, there were small birds called wake moxibustion.

I was not afraid of any human being, so I approached humans easily

In order to protect these birds, the US troops thoroughly quarantined the rats and cats in the cargo and lived without any problems for a while.

In 1942, after Wake Island was occupied by Japan, the US military landed on Wake Island and recaptured the maritime blockade instead of recapture.

As food decreased, Japanese troops ate wake moxibustion randomly and were extinct in 1945.
