Samsung SDS, which has advanced data center technology, will cooperate with Open AI in the design, construction and operation of the AI ​​data center.

Samsung SDS will be able to consult, establish, and operate a business for companies that want to introduce an open AI model into an in -house system.

In addition, the company also has a reseller partnership that can sell and technology for open AI enterprise services for the first time in Korea. In the future, domestic companies will be able to use open AI chat GPT enterprise services.

Samsung C & T and Samsung Heavy Industries decided to cooperate with Open AI to jointly develop the ‘floating (floating) data center’ on the sea.

The offshore floating data center has the advantage of reducing the cost of cooling and carbon emissions for cooling heat than the data center on land. However, due to the high technical difficulty, research and development is underway for commercialization in several countries.

Samsung C & T and Samsung Heavy Industries will promote the development of floating data centers, floating power generation facilities, and control centers based on their own technology.

In addition, the company is also considering the introduction of the chat GPT company in order to increase the productivity of employees and to accelerate innovation.
