If a large number of rioters invade the courthouse, causing vandalism and destroying parts of the building, several violations of the law may apply.
crime of vandalism
: Pursuant to Article 366 of the Criminal Act, you may be punished by imprisonment for up to 3 years or by a fine of up to 7 million won.
crime of trespassing on a building
: Pursuant to Article 319 of the Criminal Act, you may be punished by imprisonment for up to 3 years or by a fine of up to 5 million won.
crime of sedition
: Pursuant to Article 115 of the Criminal Act, you may be subject to imprisonment or imprisonment for not less than 1 year but not more than 10 years, or a fine not exceeding 15 million won.

Article 2 of the Act on Punishment of Violent Acts, etc. (Assault, etc.)
② Two or more people who jointly commit the following crimes shall be punished by up to one-half of the punishment prescribed in each relevant article of the Criminal Act.
1. Crimes under Article 260, Paragraph 1 (Assault), Article 283, Paragraph 1 (Threats), Article 319 (Housing Invasion, Refusal to Move Out), or Article 366 (Damage of Property, etc.) of the Criminal Act

This also applies to aggravated punishment.
In the worst case, even those who simply participated could be sentenced to at least 1 year and 6 months in prison.
In addition, if damage to property is directly confirmed through video, etc., the sentence will be further increased.
