Angus Barbery, who fasted for 392 days from June 14, 1965 to July 11, 1966, is recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records as the longest fasting person in history.

From being extremely obese at 207kg, he lost a whopping 125kg to reach a normal weight of 82kg, and various levels, including blood sugar, returned to normal.

Initially, it was planned to fast for a very short period of time under the supervision of a doctor to treat obesity.

I’ve observed that I’m adapting much better than expected and my health is improving day by day. Should I do a little more? Shall we do a little more? It is said that he ended up starving for 392 days.

Barberry’s fasting diary was written every day by professional medical staff.

According to this, he consumed essential mineral supplements such as various vitamins, potassium, and sodium, plenty of water, and various other zero-calorie drinks.

When he resumed eating, he gained 5kg to reach 87kg, but the feared yo-yo effect did not occur and he still maintained a healthy 87kg even after 5 years…

ps Angus Barbery was thoroughly managed every day under the supervision of professional medical staff. Please don’t copy it.
