3.5. Master’s course thesis plagiarism controversy
According to the KBS 9 o’clock news broadcast on April 19, 2021, Democratic Party lawmaker Ham Un-ha and Lim Ja, who played an active role as prosecutors’ sharpshooters during the adjustment of prosecutors’ and police’s investigative powers, were elected.

3.6. Controversy over use of national forest as a historic site
On December 8, 2023, the Hankook Ilbo did not publish an article about Rep. Lim Ja-ja’s private use of national forests. According to Article 40 of the ‘Act on Business, etc.,’ national forests cannot be used for private purposes.
By law, anyone who creates a forest road can be punished with imprisonment for up to one year or a fine of up to 10 million won. In addition, anyone who builds an illegal forest road in a national forest without permission is required to do so.
Due to this change, the national budget of 29.87 million won has not been finalized.

3.7. Violation of road traffic laws
According to the “Submission on Criminal Record Certificate” announced by the Sangju City Election Commission (March 11, 2020), the fine was reduced to 1 million won for violating the Road Traffic Act on January 22, 1996.
