Is it sensitive to ask Seo Hyun-jin, an actor who graduated from Dongduk Women’s University (hereinafter referred to as Dongduk Women’s University), about the situation happening at her alma mater? This is a contrasting attitude to the previous statements made by junior actors from Dongduk Women’s University, such as Kim Soo-jeong and Kim Seong-eong, who each expressed their opinions. On the 15th of last month, Kim Soo-jeong posted a ‘certification photo’ on her SNS saying that she participated in the online petition opposing the conversion of Dongduk Women’s University to engineering. After being attacked by some netizens with sexual harassment, Kim Soo-jeong responded, “I said I want to remain as a graduate of a women’s college, but seeing you doing this makes me want to go to engineering.”

Kim Seong-eun presented a different position. On the 28th, Kim Seong-eun posted a photo of the Dongduk Women’s University protest on her social networking service (SNS) and added, “Stop the low-level, low-level, unreasonable protests,” and “I condemn the indoctrination of women’s university ideology and feminism ideology.”

While younger actors are drawing attention to the situation at their alma mater while expressing different opinions, attention is focused on whether Seo Hyun-jin, who did not immediately answer in the interview, will also contribute as an alumnus.
