The reason for being canonized as a saint

In 2009, in Brazil, the mother of a child who was terminally ill due to pancreas prayed to Acutis to help her child eat delicious food and not be sick even if he died.

The child miraculously eats food and is diagnosed with a cured pancreas -> Recognized as the first miracle (recognized as a beatification)

In 2024, a mother whose brain-dead daughter prayed about the matter at Carlo’s tomb and woke up from brain-dead ten days after praying -> Recognized as a second miracle

Because he performed two miracles, which are the conditions for becoming a saint.

It is said to be canonized in 2025.
