The Korea Communications Standards Commission (KCC) has finally decided to impose a ‘caution’ on MBC’s ‘I Live Alone’, which glorifies drinking scenes.
The National Security Commission made this decision after holding a general meeting at the Broadcasting Center in Mok-dong, Seoul on the afternoon of the 188th and hearing statements from officials. Even though ‘I Live Alone’ is a program for those aged 15 or older, it repeatedly broadcasts scenes of the cast drinking along with subtitles such as ‘Kang Soju with a clean taste’, ‘Happiness with a glass full’, and ‘Refreshing sensation hitting the uvula’ over several episodes. He was criticized for glorifying drinking.
