It’s an old movie. Along with director Dong’s American drama Soma, it is a representative example of an unpleasant film.
Why am I suddenly recommending it again? If you haven’t seen it yet, please watch it.
If you like horror movies and want to watch occult movies, check it out.
The reason I like the movie Hereditary is…
1. Don’t startle people with unnecessary loud volume just because it’s a horror movie.
2. A story that may occur in everyday life unfolds, but the fear gradually increases.
3. Nevertheless, there are twists and surprises.
Midsommar was a bit boring until it got to the scary scenes, and the connection seemed a little off. In comparison, Hereditary had a perfect progression and conclusion, so the play time was not boring.
For those of you who don’t usually watch horror movies, if you don’t want to see awkward acting like someone possessed by a ghost, there’s nothing like that in the movie Hereditary.
If you want to see an obscure horror movie in a theater, watch Hereditary on Netflix instead.
Personally, I was thrilled by the last scene.
It’s perfect if you prepare a bag of popcorn calmly… in a room with the lights off… with no one outside the door to disturb you.
