Samsung Semiconductor’s 4-nano process yield caused customers to flee

While using the same machine as TSMC, the error rate is more than 2 times different.

Usually, a 60% yield is used as a standard to determine whether a foundry business is viable.

This is explained as “the quality of the food cooked using the same frying pan is very different.”

For reference, the yield of 3 nanometers or less is estimated at 20%.
