Monster Hunter Wilds frame increase tips (RTX 20/30 units only)

Users using RTX 40 or higher will be playing the game with much smoother frames by utilizing the ‘frame generation’ technology in Wilds’ graphics settings.

However, RTX 20/30 users who cannot use this ‘frame technology’ experience significant frame drops, so this is a mode that unlocks it.

+Add) In addition to the above, this is a mode that converts the DLSS3 FG (frame generation) technology, which is only available on the RTX 40 series, to FSR3 FG so that it can be used on the RTX 20/30 series as well.

1. Download the dlssg-to-fsr3-0.100 file from the link above and unzip it.

2. Install by executing the DisableNvidiaSignatureChecks.reg file.

3. Copy the dlssg_to_fsr3_amd_is_better.dll and nvngx.dll files into the Wildes installation folder.

4. Run Wilds and apply graphic settings as shown below.

– Upscaling (super-resolution technology): AMD FSR 3 (This setting must be set first to activate the frame generation function.)

– Frame Creation: On

With this setting, it will look like you are using the frame generation function of AMD FSR 3, but internally you will be utilizing the DLSS3 frame generation function, so you can secure more stable frames.

If you complete this, the frame rate will approximately double, so you can play with higher graphics quality settings.

In my case, before applying it, even if I set the graphics preset close to ‘low’, the frame rate during battle was around 40-50.

After applying it, even if I set the graphic preset to ‘High’, the frame rate during battle is about 80~100.

However, please note that the frame creation technology itself may have abnormalities such as an unnatural UI or afterimages at the edges of the screen.

(Ah, I wish there was more optimization in the main story..)
