(UK, May 27, 1922 – June 7, 2015)

From a noble family of the Holy Roman Empire. Because of that, he has top-level horseback riding and fencing skills.

Fluent in English, French, Swedish, German, Spanish, Russian, Greek, and Latin. More than half of them were self-taught.

His vocal talent was recognized by Jussi Bjorling, the tenor of the century. However, I couldn’t sing vocally because I didn’t have money. (I learned horseback riding and fencing at a young age. At this time, my family was in ruin due to my parents’ divorce.)

Participated in the Winter War as a Finnish volunteer soldier.

During World War II, he volunteered for the Air Force and completed pilot training. Able to pilot a fighter jet.

However, contrary to his will to become a pilot, his language skills were so good that he was assigned to SAS as an intelligence officer by his superiors.

Afterwards, he was transferred to the Special Operations Executive Department. Experience of carrying out missions alone in occupied German territory.

After retirement, he began his acting career as a stuntman.

He received the Order of the British Empire, 3rd class, and was even knighted.

One of his anecdotes. While filming The Lord of the Rings, Peter Jackson told Christopher Lee to scream while acting like he was being stabbed.

But as Christopher Lee said, “It doesn’t make that sound when a person gets stabbed.” When Peter Jackson asked him how he knew that, Christopher Lee said he just stared at him. At that time, a thought crossed Peter Jackson’s mind and he decided not to ask anymore.

Even Tolkien met in person.
