Chonbuk National University (President Yang Oh-bong) announced on the morning of the 4th that it signed a ‘Thousand Won Dinner’ agreement with the Jeonbuk Headquarters of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation (Director Kim Young-il) at the Chonbuk National University headquarters for the second semester of 2024.
This agreement was promoted to encourage the formation of healthy eating habits among students as well as to promote local rice consumption.
In accordance with the agreement, the Jeonbuk headquarters of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation of Korea decided to provide 4,000 kg worth of rice to Chonbuk National University in order to implement a 1,000 won dinner meal.
Chonbuk National University plans to use this to run dinners priced at 1,000 won in student cafeterias.
