Reasons why gas stations refuse or refuse to fill motorcycles with gas

First of all, refusal or unwillingness to receive fuel for motorcycles is a common phenomenon at manned gas stations, that is, gas stations where employees directly fill the tank.

Since you can’t refuse at self-service, many motorcyclists go by self-service, but even at self-service, they often fight with employees or are treated like the truth.

Now what is the reason?

There are also many reasons why the employees are unfriendly.

But first of all, there are many reasons why employees refuse, and the most common reason is

When you visit a manned gas station by motorcycle, there are many gas stations where oil gets on your motorcycle when you refuel, and many places do not open the motorcycle gas cap and ask you to get off the motorcycle.

Why do you ask me to open the motorcycle gas cap?

There are many different ways to open the gas cap on a motorcycle. That is, it is not as simple and the same as a car, but there are many different ways to open the cap, from the way the key works, to the way the cap opens, etc.

In other words, the employees cannot know everything, and if you look at the condition of the keys of those who are old or have handled the keys roughly, there is a high risk of them breaking.

As a result, there are cases where employees are unable to refuel because the key breaks while trying to open it, and many people ask for compensation for that as well.

And when you open the fuel cam, there are many cases where the cap is damaged or bent. And there are many people who claim compensation and swear that they were scratched by hitting a motorcycle while opening the fuel cap.

So, at gas stations, they ask you to open the fuel cap on your motorcycle. It’s not that gas stations don’t want to do this, but this basically takes 3-4 people a day.

So, I ask you to open it yourself. If you don’t open it yourself, the gas station will refuse to fill you with fuel.

That’s why they deny motorcyclists manned gas stations.

And there are a lot of people who swear at me when I ask them to get off their motorcycles.

Why do you ask me to put it down? Oil may splatter when refueling, and depending on the shape of the motorcycle fuel tank, oil may overflow no matter how slowly you fill it.

Then, to prevent that, employees sometimes wrap something like cloth around the fuel tank while working.

If it overflows, there are a lot of people who curse and say that they have oil on their motorcycle, it smells, and they have oil on their clothes. In severe cases, there are also many people who ask for compensation.

So they ask me to take it down, but most of the time they try to guide me and they just tell me to pull back and put my body back in.

Basically, I see about 20-30 cases like that a day, and out of these, there are 3-4 people who turn into the truth.

That’s why more and more gas stations are refusing to let you refuel your motorcycle at manned gas stations. They’re telling you to go there yourself.

I don’t think so, right?

As the number of delivery motorcycles and high-end bikes increases, such situations have become more common.

Motorcyclists who say they don’t do that, don’t think that just because you don’t do it, other people won’t do it either. Out of 100 motorcyclists I’ve seen, 70-80 are like that.

Employees need to change their unfriendly behavior, but motorcyclists should also look at themselves.
