Jamwon-dong Riverside Hotel scheduled to be completed in 2028

The site of ‘The Riverside Hotel’, which opened in 1981 as the first luxury hotel in the Gangnam area of ​​Seoul, is being reborn as a tourist base with green space. This place was once popular with ‘Seoul fashionistas’ as it had clubs and various entertainment options.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on the 2nd that it has prepared a mixed-use development plan for the Riverside Hotel site (6,491.9㎡) in Jamwon-dong, Seocho-gu. Construction is scheduled to begin next year and a 47-story hotel and officetel will be built by 2028 at the earliest. The city of Seoul expects this place to become a landmark along the Han River.
