Ripley: Oh my god, it’s been 57 years and you’re still using this?

When asked how long he had been asleep at the end of Alien Part 1 and the beginning of Part 2, he was told that it was 57 years.

Ripley: Are you saying that humans’ technological capabilities didn’t advance at all while I was sleeping…??
