Many Koreans found it fascinating to see Americans scooping up cereals that can be found at local convenience stores.
As is usually the case with these trends, it started to fade away from 2018, and from 2019, Americans no longer bother to come to Korea to buy Oreo Oz.
No matter how much Americans like it, it is not surprising that they decided that it would be unreasonable to buy a plane ticket just for cereal.
Post (cereal manufacturer) and Kraft (Oreo manufacturer), smelling money after seeing that they sold out quickly even when reselling for $30 each, joined hands again and relaunched them in the U.S. in 2019.Thanks to this, I no longer have to come all the way to Korea to buy Oreo Oz.
