There are two points of criticism in common:
1: It’s well-made and fun, but it feels like a high-quality fanfiction that borrows everything from the previous works without any originality. It’s okay, but I feel like I’ve seen it all before.
2: In fact, the criticism on this part is quite strong… well, it is pointed out why the existing Alien horror scene, which is about the fear of pregnancy and childbirth, was focused on female cast. This may be a controversial criticism, but is it a horror metaphor for men being pregnant and giving birth? There seem to be a lot of people who are offended by the fact that it broke series tradition.
