We, who were still young, soon stopped painting and started talking about cartoons.

Suddenly, I was curious about the sketchbook he brought, so I asked him to show me inside.
I got goosebumps and chills.
There was a fairy, a brand, and a shadow with a big sword.
Drawn with a pencil of a thick line, it was overwhelming.

!What is this?! He asked.These are the things in my head. I want to improve my skills and draw it! I said.
When did it start? Already there was a Berserk.

Time has passed and my first work has begun to be serialized and Verserk is published almost like that.
I’ve heard some things about him, but I’m sure of it.

Everyone was as sure that their hearts would sink as mine.

That was the only time I met him, but I understand that he cared about me afterwards.
