On the 18th, the National Statistical Office announced that the number of young people (ages 15 to 29) who ‘rested’ in July was counted at 443,000.

The most common reason for not looking for a job (42.9%) was ‘I don’t think there is a job that meets the desired wage or working conditions.’

This was followed by ‘I looked for it before, but there was no work (18.7%), ‘because I lack education and technical experience’ (13.4%), and ‘because there seemed to be no work nearby’ (11.1%).
