While the sale of Seoul National University jumpers, Seoul National University school supplies, and Seoul National University eggs was a success, the Seoul National University Development Foundation even distributed Seoul National University family stickers that said “I AM (SNU) MOM” and “I AM (SNU) DAD.” It appears that the purpose is to brag about the fact that they are ‘parents who raised children who went to Seoul National University.’ There are criticisms regarding this action by the official foundation of Seoul National University, a national university corporation, as “promoting academic sectarianism” and “vulgarity typical of underdeveloped countries.”
